Returning lettermen: Seven
Top athletes: Thomas Jobe (Sr.), Jake Hodges (Sr.), Bobby Day (Sr.), Christian Avery (Jr.)
Outlook: The Cougars welcome back seven lettermen, including Jobe, the Class 2A state champion in the long jump last season.
Hodges (triple jump), Day (100, 200) and Avery (100, 200) all advanced to the state meet last season.
"Both the boys and girls are working to win their first division championship," Fermon said. "We’re looking for an exciting season."
