Gomez, Kofford lift Basic to split with Cougars, Eagles
Nick Gomez and Cameron Kofford each went 2-0 with two pins Thursday to help Basic’s wrestling team split a pair of home duals with Coronado and Boulder City.
Gomez (106 pounds) and Kofford (160) led the Wolves to a 35-27 win over Coronado.
Boulder City’s Tyler Bethany (145) and Frankie Badgley (195) recorded pins for the Eagles in a 39-36 win over Basic.
