5-year-old boy dies in crash
A 5-year-old Las Vegas boy was killed when the pickup he was riding in blew a front tire and spun out of control while pulling a recreational trailer, Nevada Highway Patrol officials said.
The crash happened Wednesday on state Route 376, near Tonopah.
Andrew Haigh was one of three children in the back seat of the crew cab truck. He was thrown from the truck and died while being flown to a hospital. The other children were treated at a hospital and released.
