Accident ties up I-15 traffic near Flamingo Road
A three-vehicle collision Thursday morning is causing heavy traffic on southbound Interstate 15 near Flamingo Road.
Nevada Highway Patrol responded about 6:30 a.m. to an accident on I-15 just north of the East Flamingo off-ramp. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Trooper Loy Hixson.
The right lane of traffic remains closed and there are heavy delays in the area. The lane is expected to reopen just after 8 a.m.
