Clark County School District enrollment increases
Enrollment is up by 2,634 students, or almost 1 percent for the Clark County School District. There are 311,417 students compared to 308,783 students a year ago.
District officials said the 2008-09 enrollment figure is preliminary and must still be verified by the state Department of Education.
Nevada’s official count of public school students took place Friday.
