Group tries to arrest Pahrump board members

Disgruntled Republicans stepped forward Tuesday to arrest Pahrump Town Board members after they voted to repeal an ordinance meant to complicate the process of incorporation. Bill Carns, chairman of the Nye County Republican Central Committee, said the board members knew their repeal was illegal but did it anyway, thus violating their oaths of office, which is a felony.
