High wind watch for Spring Mountain, Red Rock Canyon areas Monday night

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch for the Spring Mountain and Red Rock Canyon areas from early Monday evening to late Monday night. West winds from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts over 50 mph, are expected. The highs winds are also expected to affect the western foothills of the Las Vegas Valley.
