LEGISLATIVE PANEL SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT

CARSON CITY — A legislative panel will hold a meeting March 24 in Las Vegas to hear from Nevadans concerned about revelations that patients might have been put at risk for hepatitis C and other diseases at an endoscopy center that reused syringes and medication vials.

Affected patients and any Nevadans worried about health care in the state are invited to give their input on how to better protect consumers at the meeting of the Legislative Committee on Health Care. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Sawyer Building, Room 4401, at 555 E. Washington Ave.

The March 24 meeting will be devoted entirely to public input. The meeting will be broadcast to the Carson City Legislative Building and it will be accessible via the Internet.
