Madonna’s daughter has thrilling birthday

Lourdes showed up at Top of the World restaurant about 10:30 p.m. with a half-dozen friends and security after her mother’s concert at the MGM Grand Garden.

After topping off dinner with a special chocolate cake, the group headed upstairs, where they rode X-Scream, Insanity and Big Shot.

The Stratosphere rides, billed among the tallest in the world, have been a magnet for celebrities, from Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman (a few days before their breakup), Britney Spears and ‘N Sync beau Justin Timberlake to first daughters Sasha and Malia Obama.

ELTON’S EPIC BASH

Elton John’s four-day celebration to mark his partner David Furnish’s 50th birthday will culminate at Caesars Palace on Oct. 27.

According to London’s Daily Mail, the multimillion-dollar bash will include performances by Lady Gaga, Cher, the Scissor Sisters and Cirque du Soleil.

Guests will takes buses to Las Vegas for the finale – John’s “Million Dollar Piano” show.

‘BOOM’ FIZZLES

Las Vegas headliner Kevin James lost 75 pounds while shooting the MMA film “Here Comes the Boom.”

His box office numbers came in thin as well over the weekend, with “Boom” debuting at fifth ($12 million), the worst opening for the star of “King of Queens.”

Retired UFC star Bas Rutten plays the friend and coach of James’ character.

The top movie for the weekend was “Taken 2,” which earned more than $22 million.

THE SCENE AND HEARD

Steve Wynn’s former home at Shadow Creek golf course was the setting for one of the most extravagant weddings of the year. After the Oct. 6 wedding at the Shadow Creek home of timeshare mogul Arthur Spector, the $1.5 million affair for his son, Todd Spector and Emily Krigel, included a Don Henley concert at the Four Seasons pool, a reception for 300 at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and brunch for 150 on Sunday at Charlie Palmer Steak.

A RODNEY MOMENT

Longtime boxing analyst Al Bernstein recalls a classic Las Vegas moment in his new book “30 Years, 30 Undeniable Truths About Boxing, Sports and TV.”

Years ago, he was doing his weekly stage show in front of a full house at Caesars Palace near the sports book when he spotted a familiar face.

It was his friend, comedy legend Rodney Dangerfield, a regular headliner at Caesars.

After some banter between the two, Bernstein introduced him. A huge roar went up when the crowd realized it was indeed Dangerfield, fresh from his room, in his bathrobe and slippers.
