Man pulled from Lake Mead identified
A man who was pulled from Lake Mead Thursday morning was identified Sunday by the Clark County Coroner’s office.
Edwin Vivas, a 45-year-old Henderson man, died from drowning to submersion in water, the coroner said.
Vivas went missing on May 10 after he and two others were swimming without life jackets, according to park service spokesperson Christie Vanover. The other two swimmers made it out of the water safely.
Vivas’ death was ruled accidental by the coroner.
