Medical episode cited in fatal crash
A Henderson man killed Friday in a car accident on state Route 160 near the Interstate 15 interchange died from medical complications, according to the Clark County coroner’s office.
Layne Arden Brandhagen, 56, died from a heart attack.
Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Joseph Fackrell said the Nissan Sentra went into a construction site in the area about 4:56 p.m., but the impact wasn’t significant.
Brandhagen was the sole occupant of the vehicle, he said.
