With ringing, reverbed guitars ricocheting around frontwoman Lately Blu Blu’s haunting voice, L.A.’s Blue Jungle connects the dots between classic ’50s vocal groups and the stoned-to-the-bone drone of Fuzzbox happy shoegazers like the Jesus and Mary Chain.

Spare and spooky, Blue Jungle’s psychedelic garage rock is well-suited for either a seance or a sockhop.
