North Las Vegas officials meeting to discuss goals in city’s strategic plan
As North Las Vegas fights with its unions over budget cuts, Mayor Shari Buck will have a community meeting tonight to talk about progress in meeting the goals in the city’s strategic plan.
Although the meeting is not designed to focus on the city’s budget situation, members of the union representing the city’s firefighters passed out fliers Tuesday encouraging residents to attend and “voice your concerns.”
The meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. at Aliante Station, 7300 Aliante Parkway.
