North Las Vegas police seek missing man
North Las Vegas Police need help locating a North Las Vegas man who went missing Monday.
Jose Martinez, 49, resides in an assisted living home. He was transported by staff members to a dentist’s office near Lake Mead Boulevard and McDaniel Street, at about 4:45 p.m.
Martinez later walked away from the dentist’s office and has not been seen since. Police said they do not suspect foul play, and Martinez has a history of walking away from his residence.
Martinez is dependent on medication and cannot find his way home without help.
Police described Martinez as a Hispanic, about 5 feet tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has gray-and-brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue jean shorts. He has a mustache and wears tinted glasses.
Police also released a photograph of Martinez.
