Romney says party needs ‘new face’
SPARKS — Republican Mitt Romney took shots Friday at Rudy Giuliani, Hillary Clinton and GOP politicians in Washington, D.C., saying his party needs a "new face" with realworld experience to carry Nevada and other swing states in the next presidential election.
The former Massachusetts governor also said he opposes medical marijuana laws because they are a "Trojan horse" for legalizing the drug.
Continuing his recent stepped-up criticism of his rival Republican and former NewYork City Mayor Giuliani, Romney described himself in a speech to the Nevada Federation of Republican Women as the candidate who "speaks for the Republican wing of the Republican Party."
