Severe thunderstorm warning affecting area near Boulder City
A severe thunderstorm near Boulder City prompted warnings from the National Weather Service on Friday afternoon.
A storm capable of producing quarter-sized hail and winds in excess of 60 mph was located near Railroad Pass at 1:27 p.m. The storm was moving northeast at 15 mph.
The severe thunderstorm warning, in effect until 2:15 p.m., could affect Boulder Beach and parts of U.S. 95 near Lake Mead.
