Two found dead in Pahrump home
Authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman in a home near Pahrump after a juvenile called 911 early Sunday morning to report that her parents were dead, the Nye County Sheriff’s Office said.
The identification of the deceased were not released.
According to the sheriff’s office, the girl called for help at about 4:45 a.m. and investigators went to a residence at the 6160 E. Thousandaire Blvd. The woman was dead from stab wounds and the man was dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, though the investigation is ongoing.
The girl is in the custody of the Division of Child and Family Services.
