UNLV PICKS UP TRANSFER THOMAS

Quintrell Thomas, a 6-foot-8-inch, 240-pound forward who averaged 1.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 5.4 minutes per game as a freshman at Kansas, announced today he will transfer to UNLV. Thomas will be eligible to play for the Rebels beginning in the 2010-11 season.
