Wildfire burns 600 acres near Moapa

A wildfire burned more than 600 acres, 10 homes and other out-buildings and the Warm Springs Ranch once owned by Howard Hughes Thursday in Moapa, a forestry official said. Fire crews battled the blaze from the ground and air, bringing it under control by evening.
