Let’s direct U.S. foreign aid funds to domestic victims of natural disasters
The recent hurricane tragedies in Texas and Florida left misery and total devastation for the survivors. FEMA has to go to Congress to get additional funding because the Emergency Relief Fund is empty.
Here is a novel idea: Let’s use 60 percent to 70 percent or more of our “foreign aid” largesse for “domestic aid.”
Should we not take care of America first, for a change?
I don’t see any other country worrying about us. If these countries don’t like it, that is just too bad. Putting Americans first in these hard hit areas should be our first priority.
