LETTER: Why are many local playgrounds still roped off?

I would like to know by what “medical reasoning” the slides and swings and skateboard parks at many outdoor parks are still locked up. It is really a stretch to believe that allowing the children to play on this outdoor equipment in the Las Vegas summer poses a danger to the community. Haven’t the kids suffered enough? Let them play.
