2 Sanquine – Like the turn back in distance; may fall behind early, but expect a bit of late energy.

Long Shot – 4 Kilkenny

Race 2 – 5 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

9 Our Lady Gagg – Tough parking lot post in this abbreviated sprint; can pick up the pieces of a speed duel.

3 Queenofcalifornia – Speedball has a tendency to say no mas late; blinkers off to try and harness her gas.

Long Shot – 6 Princess Tizzy

Race 3 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $32,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Entabeni – John Sadler has an uncoupled entry and this is the longer price horse; can pick up the pieces late.

3 Cactus Flyer – Expect speedball tactics from this mare; she did a pop and stop in last off a 9-month hiatus.

Long Shot – 4 Real Housewife

Race 4 – 5 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Random Luck – Hard to swallow off a moribund try in last; her races before that are competitive with these.

10 Unbridled Thoughts – Decent finish to earn a paycheck in last; no great shakes in a very slow field.

Long Shot – 8 Red Flags Flying

Race 5 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Kahlua Mist – Has won two straight so is proven with these; given a short 2-month break for this.

4 Frequent Fame – Claimed by Peter Miller who is doing a lot right these days; expect improvement on the drop.

Long Shot – 10 Kiss My Swiss

Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

7 Blazing Along – Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry so expect one of them to win; stretches out for the first time.

3 Sky Flying Eileen – Been away 10 months since chasing stakes winner Rigoletta in debut; can surprise at value odds.

Long Shot – 2 Working At Night

Race 7 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds

7 Cloud Man – Tiny edge in a very difficult heat; colt has shown a solid late kick in all three grass route races.

5 Burns – Dead-late closer switches to P Val; change can mean he’ll sit closer or at least move a lot sooner.

Long Shot – 1 Great Warrior

Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles, $150,000 Hollywood Oaks, Fillies, 3-year-olds

4 Zazu – Chance to turn the tables on the chalk from their Kentucky Oaks duel; will be flying fast late.

3 Plum Pretty – Upset winner of the Oaks figures to be way overbet; can stalk Big Tiz or vice versa.

Long Shot – 5 Big Tiz

Race 9 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

11 Tribal Desert – Let’s go for a price in the hardest race on the card; can rally big time for Chantal Sutherland.

8 Sun’s Out – Tepid chalk stretches out for the first time; figures to sit closer to the early pace.
