5 Catrageous – Takes a huge class drop for leading trainer John Sadler; has run races fast enough to beat these.

4 Jesse’s Giacomo – Strong winner in last; key is if she can repeat the race, or improve one step.

Long Shot – 3 Wink and Wish

Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming 420,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Public Defender – Big rider switch to Martin Garcia for the money shot; showed solid improvement in second career start.

1 Change of Plan – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much to be competitive.

Long Shot – 7 Ancient Stone

Race 3 – 4 1/2 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

7 She’s Holy – You’ll have an edge seeing the tote board action among the FTS; leap of faith in backing Peter Miller.

9 Ninnavee – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much to compete.

Long Shot – 4 Yodel Up a Storm

Race 4 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $54,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Atta Girl Alma – Live runner from the underrated Richard Baltas barn; like that he hires leading rider Rafael Bejarano.

6 Heat Trap – Won debut despite running green as grass; must have talent and hope for improvement in second start.

Long Shot – 7 Luxuriance

Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Baron Von Red – One of those class droppers who can win by daylight or not finish; your move at short odds.

6 Indian Winter – Second start off the claim by Mark Glatt; note he drops to the level he claimed this horse two back.

Long Shot – 4 World Renowned

Race 6 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $40,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 Major Magic – Was flattered in last when Et Tu Walker won right back; ran better than looked and fits well in here.

5 Romeo Royale – Like that this one is protected by no claim rule; Gary Stute can take his best shot with no risk.

Long Shot – 3 Oligarch

Race 7 – 6 furlongs, Purse $54,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds

6 Freakin Rocket – Muscular win in debut and no doubt will be protected from now on by Tim Yakteen; may have himself a runner.

3 Derringer – Logical chalk off a sharp second win last time; also has the leading rider up in Rafael Bejarano.

Long Shot – 4 Tizaplayer

Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $52,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

1 Brave Act – Sprinter stretching out has enough speed to consider going to the lead; has the right jock in Edwin Maldonado.

5 Volkonsky – Ran well in debut for second for Don Warren; now trying turf and has the pedigree to handle it.

Long Shot – 4 Meydan Magic
