4 Ain’t No Other – Exits a strong second in Cal Cup Sprint for this open turf sprint; Rafael Bejarano will sit a patient trip.

2 Circa’goldengear – Turf specialist has won his last two grass sprints; tactical speed to sit a perfect stalking trip.

Long Shot – 1 Canuletmedowneasy

Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $21,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

1 Mark of a Warrior – Started 2012 at Santa Anita, but has been all over the map since; has back class to handle these.

5 Privilaged – Tepid chalk in a difficult heat; just claimed by Blake Heap but well spotted to win first out for new barn.

Long Shot – 4 Arresting Officer

Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Princess Suances – Claimed by Paul Aguirre who legs up his main man Iggy Puglisi; Iggy is far from the worst rider in the room.

9 Democratic Sweep – Speedball could be a major role in today’s outcome; her best running has come over the synthetics.

Long Shot – 13 I Cee’s a Tiger

Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

5 Belonging – Typical green debut, very slow early, but fast late; exits a key race too, should show lots of improvement.

4 Chestnut Moon – Exits the best race of her life in last; a repeat race may be fast enough to upset these.

Long Shot – 2 Saturday Nite Ride

Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up

2 Bling Cha Bling – Speedy sort takes a huge class drop to face easier; also first start for a new barn in Craig Lewis.

4 Crown Over – Third start off the claim by James Kasparoff; reduced to the lowest class level of his career.

Long Shot – 5 Hombre Hughes

Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

12 Exultant – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; John Sadler barn is off to a hot start this meet.

6 Whipstock – Another taking a big class drop from MSW to maiden claiming; been away a year but showed talent before his respite.

Long Shot – 3 Kenichi

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $48,000, Cal-breds, Optional claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up

6 Cat Meeting – Big favorite off two eyelash defeats; note that trainer Jeff Mullins didn’t fire Rafael Bejarano, another chance.

1 Unusual Jazz – Should get a nice rail trip with the turf rail out 10 feet; has won four times on sod, his preferred surface.

Long Shot – 9 Jules Journey

Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $22,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

10 Deft Touch – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; should get a price with Orlando Mojica up.

8 Strange Luck – Tepid chalk in the hardest race on the card; was well bet in debut for trainer Tim Yakteen.

Long Shot – 9 Sassy Brunette
