Big night for UNLV-bound Rashad Vaughn

Rashad Vaughn is Findlay Prep’s newest star, a 6-foot-6-inch, 200-pound shooting guard.

Findlay Prep guard Rashad Vaughn has settled on a college choice, but he’s not done making an impression at the prep level.

Less than a week after announcing he would attend UNLV, Vaughn poured in 43 points for Findlay Prep in a 116-71 victory over Planet Athlete at Henderson International School on Monday night.

Vaughn tied Cory Joseph’s school-record by making nine 3-pointers in the game.

He also added six rebounds and four assists as Findlay Prep improved to 26-4 on the season. The Pilots recorded 34 assists in the victory.
