Melligen routs Gonzalez in Top Rank main event
Filipino welterweight Mark Melligen dominated Norberto Gonzalez on Saturday night to win the 10-round main event of Top Rank’s boxing card at the Hard Rock Hotel.
Melligen (18-2) won all 10 rounds on each of the three judges’ scorecards to gain a unanimous decision.
In the co-feature, Las Vegas super featherweight Diego Magdaleno improved to 15-0 with a 10-round unanimous decision over Manny Perez.
