Gorman’s Jeter replaces UNLV’s Morgan on U-18 basketball team
Bishop Gorman’s Chase Jeter has been added to the USA Basketball men’s under-18 roster, replacing UNLV incoming freshman Dwayne Morgan.
Morgan had a family emergency and left the team Wednesday in Colorado Springs, Colo. Jeter will be reunited with Gorman teammate Stephen Zimmerman on the U-18 team, which hosts the FIBA Americas Tournament beginning Friday at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
Team USA plays Uruguay in its first game in the tournament, which ends Tuesday.
