■ ARBOR VIEW — Boys track athlete Marcus Lavergne was second in the long jump at 18 feet, 7 inches at the Sunset Region Freshman/Sophomore Meet. Girls track athlete Andrea Gonzalez won the 3,200-meter run in 12 minutes, 27 seconds.

■ BONANZA — Baseball player Heriberto Orozco had two doubles and two RBIs in a 3-2 win over Spring Valley. Girls track athlete Bree Hammel broke the sophomore school record in the triple jump at Western and won the event at the Sunset Region Freshman/Sophomore Meet.

■ CENTENNIAL — Boys swimmer Thomas Farrell won the 200-yard individual medley in 2 minutes, 43.15 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 1:13.44 in a win over Legacy. Girls swimmer Rachelle Vieira was second in the 100-yard freestyle and third in the 100 backstroke in a victory over Legacy.

■ CHAPARRAL — Boys track athlete Malcolm McMurray set a meet record in the 100-meter dash in 10.85 seconds and won the long jump at 22 feet, 6½ inches at the Southern Utah Coliseum Championship Invitational.

■ CHEYENNE — Baseball player Jerraco Lindsey went 5-for-8 in three games. Softball player Rachel Holly hit .400 in three games.

■ CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Boys swimmer Chang Lin won the 50-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly in a victory over The Meadows.

■ CORONADO — Volleyball player Chris Andrulis totaled 18 kills, eight aces and six blocks in two 3-0 victories. Girls swimmer Cheney Poulson was third in the 200-yard freestyle and 100 breaststroke against Silverado.

■ DESERT OASIS — Volleyball player Zach Bobenhausen averaged more than 11 kills and four blocks per match in five tournament matches. Softball player C.J. Wilson hit .500 with two RBIs and two runs in two Southwest League victories.

■ FAITH LUTHERAN — Boys diver Eli Niebuhr scored 214.45 points to win the 1-meter diving against Shadow Ridge.

■ GREEN VALLEY — Softball player Ali Bodnar went 2-for-3 with a home run in a win over Foothill.

■ HENDERSON INTERNATIONAL — Baseball player Chase Curi went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run in a win over Lake Mead. Softball player Hailey Schulz got the win against Lake Mead and hit a go-ahead, three-run homer in a victory at Lincoln County.

■ LAS VEGAS — Boys track athlete Carlos Berralleza won the 3,200-meter run in 11 minutes, 49 seconds at a dual meet. Softball player Monique Hernandez pitched a three-hitter against Eldorado.

■ LIBERTY — Baseball player Teddy Efthemeou went 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs and got the win in relief in a victory over Boulder City. Girls swimmer Heather Doughton won the 100-yard breaststroke (1 minute, 22.74 seconds) and the 50 freestyle (29.1) in a victory over Eldorado.

■ MOUNTAIN VIEW — Softball player Lexi Alley was 5-for-7 and struck out 13 in a doubleheader split at West Wendover. Baseball player T.J. Engel went 5-for-7 with four RBIs, four walks and two runs in doubleheaders against White Pine and Laughlin.

■ PALO VERDE — Boys track athlete Nahjee Matlock won the 100- and 200-meter dashes against Cimarron-Memorial and Cheyenne and was named Most Outstanding Athlete of the Sunset Region Freshman/Sophomore Meet. Girls track athlete Sarah Leiserowitz won the 800-meter run and was part of two winning relay teams at two meets.

■ SHADOW RIDGE — Boys swimmer Michael Wagner qualified for the Sunset Region meet in the 110-yard backstroke with a time of 1 minute, 21.41 seconds. Girls swimmer Sofie Hovmand won the 1-meter diving against Faith Lutheran.

■ SIERRA VISTA — Boys track athlete Matt Murphy won the 110-meter hurdles, 300 hurdles and high jump at the Sunset Region Freshman/Sophomore Meet.

■ SILVERADO — Volleyball player Casey Hadland totaled 113 assists in three victories. Girls track athlete Diamond Bond set a Sunrise Region Freshman/Sophomore Meet record in the long jump with a mark of 17 feet, 1 inch.

■ SUNRISE MOUNTAIN — Boys track athlete Fharaad Zinnamon won the triple jump at 42 feet, 2¼ inches at the Sunrise Region Freshman/Sophomore Meet. Girls track athlete Alicia Winchester won the 200-meter dash and was second in the long jump.

■ VALLEY — Softball player Jasmin Villamar was 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs in a 12-0 win over Desert Pines.
