CHEYENNE Wrestler Kenny Davis went 8-0 at 112 pounds at the Iron Town Duals in Cedar City, Utah. Girls basketball player Taryn Hicks had 16 points against Shadow Ridge.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL Girls soccer player Mariah Abeyta posted a shutout in a 2-0 victory over Palo Verde.

DESERT OASIS Girls basketball player Trini Morgan grabbed 10 rebounds against Spring Valley. Boys basketball player Anthony Lianzo totaled 32 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in two games.

DURANGO Boys basketball player Greg Gentry hit a shot from beyond halfcourt to force overtime in a 78-74 double-overtime win over Western.

FAITH LUTHERAN Wrestler Pierce Holtfreter went 5-1 to place second at 112 pounds at the Duel in the Desert at Indian Springs.

FOOTHILL Girls basketball player Brigitte Rigon averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds for the week.

GREEN VALLEY Wrestler Daniel Allen won the 140-pound title at the San Clemente (Calif.) Invitational.

LAUGHLIN Wrestler Allen Layno won the 215-pound title at the High Desert Classic in Tonopah to improve to 20-1 with 19 pins.

LAS VEGAS Wrestler Jeremy Dailey placed first at 135 pounds in the 32-team San Clemente (Calif.) Invitational.

THE MEADOWS Boys basketball player Richard Martinez averaged 11 points and 14 rebounds in wins over White Pine and West Wendover.

MOUNTAIN VIEW Boys basketball player Cortland LeBoeuf totaled 37 points in two games. Girls basketball player Patrice Marshall totaled 28 points in wins over Agassi Prep and The Meadows.

PALO VERDE Girls basketball player Meka Smith had 14 points and 10 steals against Valley. Boys basketball player Andrew Topham had 12 points and six rebounds against Valley.

SIERRA VISTA Wrestler Cory Stimach pinned all seven of his opponents to place first at 119 pounds at the Duel in the Desert at Indian Springs. Girls soccer player Christen Parr had two goals and an assist in a 4-0 win over Desert Oasis.

SILVERADO Boys bowler Zack Hattori led the team with a 208 average. Girls bowler Krysta Nadeau had a team-best 187 average.

VALLEY Girls basketball player Iris Barahona averaged five points, four rebounds and six assists for the week.
