5 Alert Rocket – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; adding blinkers on.

7 Big Son of a Gun – Claimed by Vladimir Cerin, expect improvement; ran well enough in last to beat this kind.

Long Shot – 2 Doc Can Dance

Race 3 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $27,000, Claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 El Merito – Big class drop points to the morning-line favorite; second start off a 17-month hiatus.

6 Swift Winds – Beaten favorite ran well in last; like all in the field, he hasn’t won in 2010.

Long Shot – 1 Equiparado

Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $38,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds

8 Thirtyfirststreet – Good debut in last to be second best; logical horse with only modest improvement.

3 Husband’s Folly – Adding blinkers on after an even debut at Fairplex; can be sneaky good in this spot.

3 Hewitts – Talk about a horse for the course; he’s started five times in Inglewood and won four races.

4 Bullfighter – Bob Baffert cull has tactical speed to sit a nice trip; figures to be grinding late.
