5 Sunny Peace – Been away off a brief 2-month freshening; she too is racing at the lowest class of her career.

Long Shot – 6 Look to the Sky

Race 2 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Finish Rich in Nyc – Showed enough speed in last to be the one to catch tonight; Joe Talamo ended the Oak Tree meet hot.

2 Golden Nip – Beaten favorite could see a favorable pace scenario here; will sit back and make one brush.

Long Shot – 6 Too Much Excitement

Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $10,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 Cajun Gent – Won off the claim by Doug O’Neill and appeared to bounce last time; should be able to stalk from the wideout.

3 Escaping the Storm – Was flattered when E. P. Bombay won next out; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.

Long Shot – 6 Kanan Dume

Race 4 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Primed – Sharp win in last with a reduced price tag; first time facing winners, this is a slow NW2L condition.

5 Lost Prophet – If anyone can steal on the front end, it’s this Mike Mitchell cull; Martin Pedroza plays catch me if you can.

Long Shot – 1 Warren’s Moon

Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Syllabus – Impressive maiden claiming win last time; streaked away and appears capable of a repeat performance.

7 Red Defense – Joel Rosario is riding Battle of Hastings at Churchill; ran a much slower pace in win than Syllabus.

Long Shot – 8 Derrick Do

Race 6 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $26,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

8 Talktoomuch – She won 3 races ago for $40K price tag, runs for $32K in here; second start off a 3-month hiatus.

9 Dextera – Martin Pedroza will need to carve out a trip from a parking lot post; Bob Hess adding blinkers on too.

Long Shot – 6 Sindyfromsantacruz

Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $40,000, Allowance, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Rebecca – Was well bet and highly regarded in both career starts; on the shelf since April, she has a very high ceiling.

4 Word Association – Won with a solid late surge in last; will need some help up front, but will be grinding late.

1 Binky’s Sister – Second start off a 4-month hiatus; she is competitive at this level, but still no bargain.

8 Ride a Wave – Dead-late closer gets a big rider switch to Martin Pedroza; a lot of name riders are at Churchill this week.
