Race 1 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $13,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
Autocue – Flattered in last when Fiery Trippi won next out; dead late closer surely fits in this $8K category.
Premiere Flyer – Stride late last time in a solid try; Jim Kasparaff adding blinkers on, major contender.
Long Shot – Super Harmony
Race 2 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
She’s Not Lion – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; figures to close well late.
Princess Beau K – Was flattered in last when Tens Salty Sally won next out; saves all the ground under David Flores.
Long Shot – Girlwithgoldhoof
Race 3 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $53,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 4-year-olds and up
One Track Mind – Took the field as far as he could in the Californian; looks like lone speed in here under Mike Smith.
Spurrier – Non-threatening fourth in the Californian; Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry, neither one is favored.
Long Shot – Delightful Kiss
Race 4 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $26,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Galleta Monstruo – Flattered when Sulution won next out; Brice Blanc has had a big meet with the jockey colony watered down.
Eze Does It – Tepid chalk in a wide open affair; tactical speed to be forwardly placed throughout.
Long Shot – Come in Almighty
Race 5 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $41,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds
A Z Warrior – Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry, and both look very quick; Martin Garcia is the main stable rider.
Indian Gracey – Morning line favorite in a race full of FTS; you have the edge of seeing the tote board action.
Long Shot – Righteous Renee
Race 6 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $44,000, Optional claiming $80,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Timezone – Broke her MSW nicely on grass; no shame in last losing to Excellent News, pedigree to do a lot more.
Sweet Hanni – She has won 3 of 5 starts on grass; horses can, and do, outrun their pedigree, useful sort.
Long Shot – Holy Flapper
Race 7 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $24,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Kaylie’s Joy – Draw a line thru her bad turf race in last; she is much better, faster over the synthetic surfaces.
A Sassy Fusaichi – Has proven she does not need the lead to succeed; Joel Rosario likes to rate and save some horse.
Long Shot – Dreams Afleet
Race 8 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $41,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Onenightin Beijing – FTS from the white hot Bob Baffert barn; like the inside posts in these 6-furlongs turf sprints.
Malibu Pier – Another FTS, this one from Carla Gaines; like the vote of Rafael Bejarano, watch the tote board for clues.
Long Shot – Platinum Mine
Best Bet – One Track Mind (race 3)
