Spirit of Cochise – Sharp win last time off a 2-month hiatus; this has been a terrific meet for Jack Carava under the radar.
High Standards – Logical chalk also won last time out; 8-YO has proven his comfort level in this $25-30K claiming class.
Long Shot – Hewitts
Race 2 – 5 1/2 furlongs, $60,000 Willard L. Proctor Memorial, 2-year-olds

Edgewick Road – Closer chased the chalk in his career debut; got no closer than 8-lengths, which is nearly 2 seconds time.
Long Shot – Clubhouse Ride
Race 3 – 1 3/8th miles (turf), $150,000 Honeymoon Handicap, Fillies, 3-year-olds
In the Slips – Been away 2-months since a twice beaten favorite in sod stakes; key will be the addition of Rafael Bejarano.
Evening Jewel – Deserving favorite exits 3 grade 1 stakes for this; key for me is how difficult and taxing those races where.
Long Shot – City to City
Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $41,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Sammartino – Did everything but win last time in a terrific try; this may be an easier field than he faced last time.
A Moment in Time – Ran evenly in debut for Don Warren; note that his second time out babies win at a solid 29 percent.
Long Shot – Dance Marino
Race 5 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $41,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Celtic Charmer – Was well backed in his career debut; had a tough inside trip, clearly got an education.
Bradium – Big rider switch to Joel Rosario for the money shot; let’s see if he rides the colt with more patience.
Long Shot – Sky Fox
Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up
Major Smoke – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this career low price tag; big rider switch to Joel Rosario.

Long Shot – Goshawk
Race 7 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $44,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Bring It Home – Is a consistent 5-of-6 in the money on the greensward; good closing punch but his moves come too late.
Hughesy – Sure to be overbet in first start facing winners; his MSW wins was nice, but this is a big class rise.
Long Shot – Unionize
Race 8 – 7 1/2 furlongs, Purse $43,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Dave’s Pacemaker – The A. C. Avila barn is smoking hot through uncharted waters, for them; like that Omar Berrio returns.
Imco Spirit – Mike Pupye adding blinkers on after a solid second in last; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Long Shot – El Martillo
Race 9 – 1 mile (turf), $250,000 Shoemaker Mile, 3-year-olds and up
Karelian – Has proven that his win over Gio Ponti was no fluke; interesting eastern invader gets Rafael Bejarano.

Long Shot – Global Hunter
Race 10 – 6 furlongs, Purse $17,600, Maiden claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up
