Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $16,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds and up
Sir Ben – Among many taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; from the live Mike Mitchell barn.
Brian Boru – Another going from MSW to maiden claiming; like that main man Rafael Bejarano is riding in the cheapest race.
Long Shot – Holladay Road
Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $21,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds
Show the Flag – Tepid chalk in a handicapping puzzler; this is the cheapest field he’s ever faced in his life.
Purse Luva – Has 3 career wins, which makes him a win machine facing these; best stride will definitely come late.
Long Shot – Ferrandero
Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), $100,000 Irish O’Brien, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
A Jealous Woman – She has proven that sprinting she can rate off leaders; an absolute crusher so far on grass.
Bootleg Annie – Like the parking lot post for Garrett Gomez to clock the early speed; she’s won down the hill before.
Long Shot – Unzip Me

Beachrock – Ran well in debut for Eoin Harty and should improve today; enough speed where he can stalk the early pace.
Royce – Like the turn back in distance from a turf route to a sprint; expect Garrett Gomez to save ground and fire late.
Long Shot – Sirocco Strike

Samantha’s Rule – Like the turn back in distance from a mile for this hillside sprint; Joel Rosario comes charging late.
A Clever Ten – Logical chalk off some sharp closing sprint tries; should see a ton of early pace to close into.

High Court Drama – Excellent betting race with a number of horses capable of winning; faced tougher in last two stakes.
Bourbon Bay – Ran a career best in the San Luis Obispo; key will be if he bounces or can gallop along the marathon distance.
Long Shot – Lease of Life

Ministers Altarboy – Beaten favorite has been improving with each start; Joel Rosario likes to take back off the pace.
Precious Duke – Sharp effort in last dueling into the teeth of a hot early pace; suspect others want the lead again here.
Long Shot – Unusual Encounter

Desperate – If she can duplicate her recent NoCal form, she’ll be awful tough; blinkers on have seemed to help her.
