Magic Max – Part of an uncoupled Bob Baffert entry; exits a stakes for this, keep an eye on Take a Hard Look.

Setsuko – Typical green debut, slow early, fast late when in stride; should enjoy the 2-turn trip.

Long Shot – Mr. Saturdaynight

Race 2 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $32,000, 2-year-olds

Seeuat Sticknstein – Been in the money 6-of-7 starts; pretty consistent in a race full of ugly looking horses.

Sweet Tigger – Class relief from a bunch of harder stakes for this; takes the weight off with bugboy Reyes.

Long Shot – Raptor Force

Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $14,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

New Citizen – Two decent efforts at Fairplex; exits two bullet works and might just grind these down in the lane.

Que Sera Sera – Tepid chalk in a miserable looking field; his debut race is fast enough to beat these.

Long Shot – Anundeniablyhappy

Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $17,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

Red Alarm – Dead late closer should appreciate the cheap speed in here; her three career wins points her out.

Voodoo’s Vision – Among the speedy sort in the field; big class drop for Julio Canani charge can only help.

Long Shot – Truthy

Race 5 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $32,000, Claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Raiding Party – Won off the claim by Mike Mitchell; has speed to benefit from the turf rail out 30 feet.

Yasinisi – Beaten favorite turned in a clunker last time; her race two back is enough to get into the photo.

Long Shot – Carnival Queen

Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $12,000, Claiming $10,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Rocket Kitty – Tiny edge in a real dart throw of a race; claimed by Carava, has a ton of back class too.

Msty Aly – Has enough gas to get to the front from a parking lot post; simple tactics for Felipe Valdez.

Long Shot – Come Back Girl

Race 7 – 1 mile, Purse $54,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up

El Gato Malo – Can still improve, while many here are running downhill; tactical speed to sit a decent trip.

Mast Track – Sentimental horse with trainer Bobby Frankel doing so poorly; his San Diego second was a corker.

Long Shot – Neko Bay

Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

Musical Grace – Clear second in last in a much improved effort; big shot if she can improve one more step.

Hurricane Dawn – Beaten chalk showed good early speed at Fairplex; there is not much speed in here.

Long Shot – Deputy Judy R N
