Stevie’s Afleet – Tepid chalk in a wide open affair; taking the biggestr class drop in racing from MSW.
Long Shot – Auntgrace
Race 2 – 1 3/8th miles (turf), Purse $65,000, Optional claiming $62,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Storybook – Logical chalk finds a soft spot for a confidence booster; reunited with Garrett Gomez to ride.
Alley Theater – Return of Kentuckians John Glenney and Jon Court; expect them to cash in a couple of bombs.
Long Shot – Wine and Dyne
Race 3 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Blind Luck – Convincing debut win at Calder; a lot of good babies have come out of Florida, can be any kind.
Ridemetothemoon – Gets class relief from 2 tough stakes for this; Peter Miller takes the blinkers off today.
Long Shot – Such Fortune
Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $24,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Kaptain Kordough – Claimed by Mike Mitchell, as good as it gets; expect improvement under Garrett Gomez.
Juice Committee – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; well both both races.

Cato Major – Tiny edge in a very interesting heat; Ron Ellis barn has been en fuego since the Hollywood meet.
Wood Art – You may not have heard of Robert Troeger, but he’s a disciple of Jeff Mullins.

Cherryblossommiss – Was well regarded last summer at Del Mar; second start off a 10-month sabbatical.
Sekmet – Typical John Shirreffs baby has one two starts at age 4; she could improve and improve fast today.

Justice Is Brief – Del Mar is one of the best horses for courses tracks in the country; she loves it down here.
Pokomoke – Ran a big race in defeat last out for new trainer Jeff Mullins; figures to keep improving too.
Long Shot – Paloma’s Flight
Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 Graduation, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds
Grace Upon Grace – Ran well while facing tougher in last; drops back to face Cal-breds, adds blinkers on today.
Roman Counsel – Has run 3 razor sharp races in a row; tactical speed to get involved from the get go.
Long Shot – Bertran Hill

Fool’s Paradise – Given an innocent prep last out; she won twice here last summer at square odds.
