Box Office Star – Tepid chalk in a wide open opener; flattered by Only Be Cause winning next time out.

Long Shot – Great Raid

Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $32.000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

Scorpion Time – Exits a trouble trip and gets a rider switch to Mike Smith; adding blinkers on for this.

Insider – Chance to be lone speed from the advantageous rail; been facing good ones at Churchill and New York.

Long Shot – Belongs to Gotham

Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds

Delaware Doe – Won both his starts at Del Mar last summer; Peter Miller horses are well meant so far this meet.

Too Much Heat – Barry Abrams is blitzing us with Unusual Heat get; sliding down the claiming ladder.

Long Shot – Tap Tap I Win

Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $47,000, Claiming $50,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

Shehadmefromhello – Dropping in class to race an easier test; first time she’s ever run for a price tag.

Forty Dates – Cozy parking lot post for her closing style; should transition fine from turf to synthetic.

Long Shot – Costa Marta

Race 5 – 1 1/16th miles (turf)O, $85,000 Osunitas, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

You Lift Me Up – If Joel Rosario can get her to rate in second, she has a huge shot; overdue for racing luck.

Bel Air Sizzle – Tepid favorite in a very competitive heat; dead late closer should see a very honest pace.

Long Shot – Royal Taat

Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $51,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds

Seriously – FTS from Bob Baffert; most of her 2-YO babies have been well meant, it’s a bottomless list.

Misinjennuous – Top connections of Garrett Gomez and John Sadler; watch the tote board for any clues.

Long Shot – Whyprincesswhy

Race 7 – 6 furlongs, Purse $57,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Gold Goddess – Was scratched the other day for this; she appears better suited for synthetic than grass.

Unzip Me – Key note is she won her MSW last Del Mar; third start off a 9-month hiatus could be her best.

Long Shot – Dancing Erin

Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), California Dreamin’ Handicap, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

Dewey’s Special – Has had many gaps in his resume; no question he has talent and tactical speed.

Bold Chieftain – Favorite appears to have lost a step; has been unable to finish the deal in recent starts.

Long Shot – Mr. Wolverine

Race 9 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $18,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

Dirty Dish Mitch – This is the epitome of lone speed; cannot imagine anyone wanting to duel with him.

Low Gear Power – Claimed by the wizard Mike Mitchell; that’s one of the best trainer angles in SoCal.

Long Shot – Royal Vision

Race 10 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $53,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up

Kumiva – Can turn the tables on the favorite in here; value with Joe Talamo riding for Rafael Bejarano.

Dynamic Range – Speedy sort figures to have company on the front end; dead game loss last time out.
