Post Time 3 p.m.
Race 1 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden claiming $100,000, 2-year-olds
Pierre Bear – Taken by Jeff Mullins and spotted nicely to graduate; claim proof, who will pay $100,000 for him.
Ishmael – FTS from Bob Baffert barn; key for me is he hires Garrett Gomez, expect him to pick up Bejarano business.
Long Shot – Summers at Delmar
Race 2 – 5 furlongs (turf), Purse $57,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Going Forward – Expect him to be the speed of the speed; cozy rail slot to protect all the way around.
Teamwork – Dead late closer figures to see plenty of pace today; Joel Rosario will be pumping hard late.
Long Shot – Bruce’s Dream
Race 3 – 5 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 CTBA, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Repo – This is an easier spot facing state-breds; she’s an open stakes winner, shortest price of the day.
Taro – Won despite not knowing what she was doing; should improve, but appears well short of the favorite.
Long Shot – Unbridled Meeting
Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $57,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Stunningly – The set up is too obvious; she showed well at Del Mar last year, just got a prep in last for this.
North Rodeo – Logical chalk finally won one in last; she is strictly the one to beat at a short price.
Long Shot – All the Love
Race 5 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $50,000, Claiming $50,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Kinesiology – She is dropped for a price tag to win; her lone win came last summer on Del Mar turf.
Ocean Style – Tepid chalk in a very wide open race; gets class relief from the Flawlessly for this.
Long Shot – Mysterious Marissa
Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up
Adebayor – Just missed last time in a winning effort for this level; Carla Gaines takes the blinkers off.
Great Home – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; figures to be right there.
Long Shot – Launch the Bull
Race 7 – 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Hockeythehayman – Blitzkreig winner in debut at Calder; Wesley Ward felt him ready to return at Del Mar.

Long Shot – Complexity
Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds
Cleisthenes – Beaten favorite gained important conditioning in U.S. debut; should be ready to fire today.

Imadethecashcall – Draw a line thru the last race debacle; Adam Kitchingman takes the blinkers off.
