Mud Sweat ‘n Tears – Rebounded nicely after an awful run 2-races ago; appears to be sitting on a good one.

Stanford Dolly – Tepid chalk in a pedestrian looking field; grinder slides down to the bottom rung.

Long Shot – Nuschka’s Dream

Race 2 – 5 furlongs, Purse $46,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds

Bertran Hill – Rough trip in debut made everyone’s horses to watch list; big rider switch to Joel Rosario.

Sweet Tigger – Rafael Bejarano takes over this Walther Solis baby; showed improvement with blinkers on in last.

Long Shot – Wolf Tail

Race 3 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $33,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

Shadow of Illinois – He is in top form right now for a 9-YO gelding; has always loved the Hollywood turf course.

Cayambe – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this modest class; his recent races for a price tag are good.

Long Shot – Roi Charmant

Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Ampys Lil Girl – Finally found her comfort zone in last; was a race or two away from shipping to Los Alamitos.

Celena – Outran her high odds last time to catch minor awards; parking lot post in an elongated sprint race.

Long Shot – Ata Honour

Race 5 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), $70,000 Manhattan Beach, Fillies, 3-year-olds

Jehan – With so much early speed, the race shape favors a stalker/closer/ proven she can be rated.

Silent Stalk – Tyler Baze will try to be the speed of the speed; must brush off 3 or 4 speedballs tonight.

Long Shot – Ultra Blend

Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

Lyon’s Growl – Steep class drop off a so-so career debut; need not be much from Brian Koriner to graduate.

Lethal Dose – Has responded to Kayla Stra to cash paychecks in 3 races in a row; speed to play a role early.

Long Shot – Party Mandate

Race 7 – 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $39,000, Claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up

Fire Wood – Gets big time class relief from graded stakes for this; Mike Mitchell now knows what he’s got.

Epic Power – Ground saving trip for this cagey veteran; this is the cheapest price tag he’s ever run for.

Long Shot – Victorian Prince

Race 8 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Court Ballado – Tepid chalk in an ugly looking finale; she’s capable of better than her last start.

Unknown Heat – Like the turn back in distance from a route to a sprint; figures to run on late with energy.
