Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $25,300, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

6 Hunter Creek – Old guy has won 6-of-7 starts this season; claimed in each of his last four starts.

5 Gilligan – Has won two in a row for Mike Mitchell; surprised he is not favored considering the hot barn.

Long Shot – 4 Sir Bell

Race 3 – 7 furlongs, Purse $70,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up

1 Indian Firewater – Did all the dirty work in the Los Angeles in last; he does not need the lead to succeed.

5 Red Door Drive – Could be another Bob Baffert quinella like in the Gold Cup; nice stalking post from the wide out.

Long Shot – 2 Golden Itiz

Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $55,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up

5 Cook Inlet – Did everything but win last time out; tactical speed to sit a good trip and power home late.

1 Coming Thru – More Bob Baffert power from the rail; will save all the ground and come running late.

Long Shot – 2 Balladry

Race 5 – 7 furlongs, Purse $57,200, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

7 Bertran Hill – Tiny edge in a difficult looking heat; big rider switch to P Val for the money shot.

10 Courtside – Suspect his best strategy is to go as fast and as far as he can; has shown no ability to rate.

Long Shot – 6 Big Burly Boy

Race 6 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $55,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

7 Ringmistress – Twice-beaten favorite back at Santa Anita; well rested for return, should like this turf sprint.

9 My Hopeful Heart – Dan Hendricks babies typically improve a lot second time out; ran well in debut, sitting close throughout.

Long Shot – 10 Lula Talullah

6 Lady Lazer – Good try in last, is dropped down in class to win; Peter Miller barn has been really firing this meet.

9 Favorable – Taking the biggest class rise facing winners for the first time; showed ability to rate and fire.

4 Hudson Landing – Class relief from two grade 3 stakes for this; like that Garrett Gomez is taking the call.

6 Muny – More Mike Mitchell as he completes a fantastic meet; will be forwardly placed throughout.

3 Coal Region Kid – Third start off a 2-year hiatus; 3-of-4 lifetime starts are all fast enough to beat these.

5 Dancing Joy – Speedball tactics in what he hopes is a no-passing-zone affair; will be tested the final furlong.
