Don Amelia – Beaten favorite may have needed her first start in 2-months; her best stride will come late.
Kneeling’s Pride – Tepid chalk has proven to like the synthetics; can clock the leaders from the wide out.
Long Shot – Brought It
Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $25,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Hot’ n Lacey – She may be the lone speed in the race; Felipe Valdez is most effective with a speed horse.
I Swear – Just missed in last, now tries grass for the first time; she should be able to stalke the pace.
Long Shot – Saint Cindy
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up
Stormy Game – Uneven effort in last; he is capable of better, may be sitting on a big try.
Only Be Cause – Most maiden graduates get overbet the first time they face winners; good tactical speed.
Long Shot – Areutrue

Hot Little Bug – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; speed to be well placed.
Not Unusual – Another taking the big class drop from MSW to maiden claiming; turns back from grass routes.
Long Shot – Jet Set Lass

Up Your Wager – Third start off a 2-year hiatus could be her best; sliding down the claiming ladder too.
Curvey Star – John Sadler found a soft spot for her to win; has back class to repeat the winning effort.
Long Shot – Stroppy

Eisenheim – Beaten favorite takes another drop in class; gets reunited with Garrett Gomez signals intent.
Lunar Humor – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this bottom rung; figures to be closing fast late.
Long Shot – Tizwhen
Race 7 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $50,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Ukiah – His second to stakes winner Grazen 2-back points him out; was not embarrassed in the Californian.
Speight the Halo – This is the kind of heavy favorite I try to beat; will be way overbet with Gomez up.
Long Shot – J P Jammer
Race 8 – 5 furlongs, Purse $46,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Siberian Heart – Ran big in debut for a $40K price tag; a win and she becomes eligible for many conditions.
Swiss Love – Rail hugging ride coming up for Joe Talamo; he’ll wait and make his move in the stretch run.
