Anita Brewski – Tepid favorite in an open race; your advantage is you’ll see the tote action.
Dandy Dancer – Ran first time for a price tag in last and just missed; chance to improve and upset.
Long Shot – Daylight Storm
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $10,000, 3-year-olds and up
Cape Town King – Ran great in last off a 9-month hiatus; shown he does not need the lead to succeed.
Greedy Way – Rafael Bejarano has a way of taking a speedy horse off a fast early pace; will grind late.
Long Shot – Sacred Mountain
Race 3 – 5 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Such Fortune – Took plenty of bet action in debut for Adam Kitchingman; drops down for a price, good spot.
Chatty Lula – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; saves ground too.
Long Shot – Muah
Race 4 – 7 1/2 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Dona Amelia – Parking lot post is a postive in this elongated sprint; can clock the pace by looking in.
Cato Major – Ron Ellis spots them to win and this filly is no different; big condition win in last.
Long Shot – Wood Art
Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Moscow Rising – Logical chalk drops in class and shortens up in distance; could be a paceless race.
Maggie and Hopie – Ran well off the claim by Jack Carava; away 2-months, has plenty of upside.
Long Shot – Upper Manhattan
Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $25,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Singita – Big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot; saves all the ground down inside.
Hot ‘n Lacey – Broke his maiden like breaking dry sticks; crackling win, let’s see if he can repeat.
Long Shot – Sky Marni
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds
Zensational – Colt is clearly the speed of the speed; scratched from a stakes for this much easier spot.
Dark and Deep – The rail is a good place to be on Friday night in Inglewood; Joe Talamo saves ground.
Long Shot – Candy Lion
Race 8 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Fiery Rebel – I don’t know who Valdez, but he looks good in the saddle; slides down the claiming ladder.
Denizen – Draws in off the also eligible list, be wary; you get Rafael Bejarano in the mix too.
