Race 1 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $12,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Golden Venture – Tiny edge in a cozy field for the opener; saves ground on the stretch out, will grind late.
Primed and Poised – Tepid chalk runs evenly so that’s all you’ll get; class drop to this condition claimer.
Long Shot – Twodollarstowin
Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $38,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
Massone – Key for me is Garrett Gomez takes the call for a trainer he rarely rides, Hall of Famer Ron McAnally.
Blazing Spirit – Tepid chalk has the interesting Del Mar Futurity line on his resume; still he’s no cinch.
Long Shot – Hi Flyin Indy
Race 3 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $24,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Timias – Red flag drop by John Sadler off a win; trainers do this from time to time to keep other trainers honest.
Tour Da Bronx – Hard knocking gelding has won 3-times this year facing cheaper; off the claim by Frank Monteleone.
Long Shot – By Spot
Race 4 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $37,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
Empire House – Beaten favorite adds blinkers on which has to help; like that Gomez rides for Neil Drysdale.
Captain Kali – Ran well in debut for low percentage barn; Rosales adds blinkers on to focus him from the gate.
Long Shot – Stayonit
Race 5 – 7 furlongs, Purse $39,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Tribal Chief – Cruise control win in last in the Living Legends race; Sandy Hawley gave him a simple hand ride.

Long Shot – Cat Brulay
Race 6 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $36,000, Claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds
Tommys Luck – Made his turf debut a winning one in last; Jeff Mullins moves him up conservatively for this.
Storm Brave – Chased Tommys Luck in last and they could make the quinella again; saves all the ground inside.
Long Shot – Topper Shopper
Race 7 – 6 furlongs, $100,000 Vernon O. Underwood, 3-year-olds and up
Noble Court – Best closer in a field packed with early speed; can be an exciting sprint prospect in 2009.
Bob Black Jack – Chalk has been away since the Kentucky Derby; stepping stone prep for the Strub series.
Long Shot – Six Pack Abs
Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $40,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds
Victor’s Cry – Rough trip last time, now Bejarano takes over for Gomez; slight edge in a very difficult heat.
Rumba Along – Draw a line thru the Oak Tree Derby and his resume looks fine; offers good value at 8/1 odds.
Long Shot – Victory Pete
Race 9 – 7 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Sweetwaterwind – Like the turn back in distance for this elongated sprint; should be charging hard late.
Moon Moment – Claimed by Dan Hendricks, key is he hires Bejarano to ride; saves ground with every step.
Long Shot – Uta’s Beauty
Best Bet – Timias (race 3)
