Race 1 – 6 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Havens Lake – Lost a tough decision last time, now slides down a notch to face easier; Jeff Mullins has two in here, be wary.
Newport Lulu – Third start off a 2-month hiatus could be her best; Clinton Potts replaces Talamo who goes to Pass Me the Sugar.
Long Shot – Pass Me the Sugar
Race 2 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds
Whatever Whenever – He appears to be lone speed, the most dangerous play in racing; up to Victor Espinosa to nurse the energy.
Dunlap – Lost a tough decision last time, now slides down a notch to face easier; second start off the claim from Mullins.
Long Shot – You Is What You Is
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $24,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up
Malibu Canyon – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; has been working steadily for Carla Gaines.

Teen Age Bride – Leap of faith that Rafael Bejarano isn’t jumping on a dead horse; Glatt puts the blinkers on for this try.
Sweet Spot – Like the turn back in distance from two turf routes for this; she is also sliding down the claiming ladder.
Long Shot – Beulah Land
Race 5 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $34,000, 3-year-olds
Superfecta – Speedball will be aided by the inside draw and turf rail out 20 feet; Tyler Baze goes as fast and as far as he can.
Roadside Rest – Turning back in distance from a 2-turn route for this; expect his best stride to come in the late stages.
Long Shot – Our Superstar
Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up
Royal Seal – Leap of faith that Garrett Gomez wouldn’t waste his time on this guy; should be dead fit exiting a turf route.
Royal Albert – Another taking the biggest class drop in racing, from MSW to maiden claiming; Mr. Long Shot up, Joel Rosario.
Long Shot – El Spaniard
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $51,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Lighten Up Rule – Looks like a lock quinella in here; third start off the claim by Jeff Mullins, she appears to be improving.
Exquisite Beauty – Claimed by Barry Abrams who has elevated his status the past couple years; hires Gomez, a very good sign.
Long Shot – Summertime
Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds
Branquino – FTS from trainer Brian Koriner, he has a very high strike rate with Joe Talamo; the tote board will tell you.
Got Alot Going – Of the ones with experience, his resume looks best; tactical speed to sit a trip and grind it out late.
Long Shot – Coastal Souvenir
