Hold This – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; should be dead fit exiting grass races.
Nima’s Pad – Note that Garrett Gomez rode him in his first two career starts; Joel Rosario has been a pleasant surprise.
Long Shot – Bala Rapida
Race 2 – 7 furlongs, Purse $33,000, Maiden claiming $75,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Holladay Dixie – Taking the biggest class drop in raicng from MSW to maiden claiming; hot Carla Gaines adds blinkers on.
Remember Seattle – Vote of confidence that John Sadler raises her off two losses; could be a Joel Rosario daily double.
Long Shot – Stylin Deputy
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $26,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Outlaw James – Rafael Bejarano won on him two races ago; has enough speed where he can sit midpack or better.
Stand Tall – Tepid chalk in a wide open race; big rider switch to Martin Pedroza, he could improve a lot for Canani.
Long Shot – Anzisong
Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Allowance, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Crown of Diamonds – Highly regarded filly returns off a 4-month hiatus; she may be better suited to stalk and pounce late.
Puff Maddie – Visually impressive MSW win last time for John Shirreffs; his babies tend to keep improving with racing.
Long Shot – Silent Kitten
Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
Exhale – Been away so long he broke his MSW at Santa Anita over the dirt surface; was highly regarded then, more so now.
Secret Shuttle – Shows promise in winning both his career starts; Alex Solis prefers being outside for a wide rally.
Long Shot – Jack’s Kid
Race 6 – 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $57,000, Optional claiming 480,000, 3-year-olds
Meer Kat – You won’t get the 6/1 morning line on him in here; gets class relief off three stakes, he will get bet down.
Red Redding – Jeff Mullins charge show ability in last two starts; saves all the ground, value comes in Paul Atkinson.
Long Shot – Wild and Ready
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $61,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 4-year-olds and up
Street Boss – He appears on the verge of putting it all together; typical Bruce Headley, he’s being very patient with him.
Tropic Storm – Speedball was thought of enough to run in the Sunshine Millions two back; has speed to get into the race.
Long Shot – Marvel Wood
Race 8 – 7 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Rail Dancer – Has a tendency to quit in the late stages, but she’s never faced a field this bad; Solis figures to take a hold.
Warren’s Cookie – Michael Baze will try to get this filly to keep improving; she too has tactical speed to get involved early.
Long Shot – Tiz Ballado
