Race 1 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Four Paws – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; chance to upset at fair odds.
Catch Candy – Logical chalk has had too many chances to get comfortable with; tactical speed to sit a decent trip.
Long Shot – Tripped the Light
Race 2 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $63,000, Allowance Optional Claiming $80,000, 4-year-olds and up
Thousand Words – U.S. debut in the San Pasqual was OK over the Cushion Track; returns to his preferred surface.
Neko Bay – Classy sort has been away 10-months, the main strike against him; one to fear if he’s ready to fire.
Long Shot – Caribbean
Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies, 4-year-olds
Katispsublue – Dead late closer ran well last time facing a slightly tougher crew; enough back class to compete.
Marry Me Larry – Game winner last time over a miserable group, but at least he won;
Long Shot – Stress Free
Race 4 – 1 1/8th miles, $200,000 La Canada, Fillies, 4-year-olds
Down – Frankel has been waiting for this filly to join the party; soft grade 2 gets her undeserved black type.
Say You Will – Was a real looker winning down the hillside turf course last time out; stretches out, but has talent.
Long Shot – Caressive
Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds
Savvy and Smooth – Solid effort last time, now tries turf for the first time; tactical speed to sit a good trip.
Vital Force – Speedy sort could try and steal this on the front end; expect Chantal to send from the wood.
Long Shot – Big Mahogany
Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds
Liberty Watch – Like the Koriner-Gryder team when they send out a live, fast one; plays catch me if you can.
Scibelli – Beaten favorite in last lost to some talented colts; bred to sprint, he could easily improve a step.
Long Shot – Doc On the Rock
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), $75,000 Wishing Well Handicap, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Kalookan Year – Long shot figures to get a good trip and finish fast; her two trips down the hill are both good.
Courtwood – Parking lot post down the hillside turf course can be a benefit; like the turn back in distance too.
Long Shot – Rockella
Race 8 – 7 furlongs, $150,000 San Vicente, 3-year-olds
Into Mischief – Turns back in distance from 2-turn route to elongated sprint today; could be slow early, fast late.
Georgie Boy – His pedigree for going around 2-turns is suspect, today is an elongated sprint; short priced danger.
Long Shot – Massive Drama
Race 9 – 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $57,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up
Mostacolli Mort – Did everything but win last time in a sharp try; has the back class to beat on these.
Sir Lowry – Just missed last time in a blanket finish; figures to be overbet, but appears he can run all day.
Long Shot – House of Silver
Race 10 – 6 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
She’s So Vain – Could be a clever claim by O’Neill off a win; well spotted to repeat over a bad bunch.
Kachina Dream – Big class drop makes him a danger facing many slow ones; need not be much to compete.
Long Shot – Gabby Lane
Best Bet – Thousand Words (race 2)
