In Case You Missed It: Flight of the teeterboarder

Looking to do something a little out of the ordinary this weekend? Sure, you can always find something new to do on the Strip, but I’ve got something you’ve probably never thought of. Plus, it’ll keep you out of the cold.

It’s called teeterboarding. And it looks like a blast … if you can get over your initial fears.

Think of it as a grown-up version of the teeter totter, but much more difficult.

Gymnasts David James Rimmer and Stéphane Beauregard are practicing a teeterboard routine for an act with Cirque Du Soleil in Brazil.

Rimmer, who says he’s been competing internationally in trampolining — yes, it is a sport — for the past few years, performs as a teeterboard artist in the show, “Corteo.”

I wonder what kind of confused looks he gets when he tells people he is a professional teeterboarder.
