INTERNET VOLLEYBALL: Clark rallies past Western in boys volleyball

Ronnie Corcuera dished out 23 assists Tuesday as Clark’s boys volleyball team rallied on the road to defeat Western, 22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-18, 18-16.

Vito Beltran added 10 kills and five blocks for the Chargers, and Carlo DeSantis had eight kills.

Brian Marshall had 27 assists for the Warriors, and Zach Fowler added 14 kills and seven blocks.

Durango 3, Spring Valley 1 — At Durango, Darren Torrie had 30 assists, seven aces and six kills to lead the Trailblazers to a 23-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-20 win over the Grizzlies.

Frank Keil had 18 kills for Durango, and Velmin Husic added 10 kills and five blocks.

Chance Comrie led Spring Valley with nine kills and six digs, Spencer Gubler had eight kills and Jayvin Garcia added 12 assists.

Sierra Vista 3, Bishop Gorman 0 — At Gorman, Marvi Sanchez had seven kills and three aces as the Lions beat the Gaels, 25-21, 25-14, 25-13.

Brent Waldron added five kills and two aces for Sierra Vista.

Gorman’s Kamana Kaimikaua had 13 assists, four blocks and three kills.

Las Vegas 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, Jonathan Dugan had 16 kills, 14 digs, four blocks and three aces in the Wildcats’ 25-7, 25-23, 25-17 win over the Pioneers.

Las Vegas’ Danny Farias had 44 assists and four aces, Chris Gbelay added 11 kills and three blocks and Ernest Rodriguez had 17 digs.

Ray Esteves had 20 assists and eight digs for Canyon Springs, and Kapahu Kahalepo added 11 kills and three digs.

Desert Pines 3, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Charlie Smith had 15 kills and 12 blocks and Paul Burns added eight kills as the Jaguars beat the Rams, 25-16, 25-17, 25-22.

Ryan Dennis had nine kills and J.B. Drury seven kills for Rancho.

Chaparral 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Carlos Chandia tallied 23 assists and four kills and DeAndre Marshall added four kills and five blocks as the Cowboys beat the Sundevils, 25-16, 25-21, 26-24.

Jesse Whinery had six blocks and three kills for Eldorado.

Coronado 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Kevin Foutz had 15 assists and five aces to help the Cougars to a 25-10, 25-14, 25-12 win over the Longhorns.

Bryan Arana added nine kills, six digs and two aces for Coronado.

Legacy’s Steven Leavitt had nine assists and Ethan Ewing added six kills.
