Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made an appearance on the red carpet at the WWE Mae Young Classic event in Las Vegas on Sept. 12, 2017.
Rousey showed up to support her friend Shayna Baszler, who was set to compete in the main event of the Mae Young Classic against Kairi Sane.
Baszler and Rousey make up half of ‘Four Horsewomen’ in mixed martial arts. MMA fighters Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke are the other half.
In the WWE, the Four Horsewomen are Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. They recently confronted Rousey, Duke and Shafir in a video that went viral.
Since the video’s release, there has been speculation that this may spark a wrestling career for Rousey who hasn’t competed in MMA since being stopped by Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December.
Some of the WWE brass and superstars chimed in on what they think about Rousey and the possibility she joins their ranks.
