Veteran heavyweights set to scrap in Las Vegas at UFC 222

A big fight has been added to the UFC 222 card, scheduled for March 3 at T-Mobile Arena.

Former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will take on Stefan Struve, the organization’s tallest fighter.

Arlovski snapped a five-fight losing streak with a unanimous-decision victory over Junior Albini in November. The losing skid had been preceded by six consecutive wins for the 38-year-old who held the UFC title in 2005.

Struve, who stands 7-feet tall, had his two-fight winning streak snapped when he was knocked out by Alexander Volkov in September.

It will mark the 20th fight in the UFC for the Netherlands native, who is still just 29.

The bout joins a middleweight bout between Hector Lombard and C.B. Dollaway on the card.

No main event has been announced.
